Applicant will be responsible for creating technical documents and procedures, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with engineering and technical staff to ensure accuracy of documentation. If you have previous experience as a Technical Writer in an aviation or other factory environment, we encourage you to submit an application.
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals.
Produce on-line documentation.
Maintain a comprehensive on-line library of technical documentation.
Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
Manage updates and revisions to technical documentation.
Manage document retention policy.
Coordinate manual changes with regulatory agencies.
Performing compliance audits.
Skills:
Associate’s Degree or higher in technical writing or in a technical field (e.g.
aviation maintenance
, engineering technician, medical technician, etc.).
Background in aeronautics a pluc!
Proven experience working in a technical writing position in an aviation environment (preferred), or other factory environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Proficiency in website maintenance.
Strong attention to detail.
Previous auditing experience (to any ISO standard preferred).
Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.
