We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of sales success, excellent communication skills, fierce work ethic, and excellent communication skills. This is a great opportunity for a sales professional that will want to drive new business development and make an immediate impact on local communities.
We’ve been selling advertiser supported publications for over forty years. Our Community Advertising Sales Executives sell in the local community to help get the message to the senior center audience. LPi handles all the aspects of the advertising placed in their newsletter
from sales to design to billing so the senior centers can focus on running their facility and making a difference in the community.
A WEEK IN YOUR NEW CAREER:
Build relationships with an existing LPi customer by working from their senior center office. Your days will be spent making phone calls and visiting local businesses on behalf of our customers to help get their advertising word out in the local community! The new ad revenue you generate from local businesses allows LPi to provide print and digital solutions to the senior center at minimal cost.
CHARACTERISTICS THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:
A hunter mentality – this role is 100% new business development
2 years of proven B2B sales experience or recent college grads with B2B sales experience
Self-motivation and highly developed organizational skills
Adaptability to work in a different location each week (Mon.-Thurs.)
Prior success with telephone cold calling
Experience prospecting your own leads
A solid understanding of Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, Word, and Outlook) and CRM’s (Salesforce)
Exceptional time management skills
REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to travel overnight up to 40% per year
Resilience and ability to close sales in a short cycle environment
Persistence to make a large volume of phone calls in a day (70 calls )
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
This is a full-time position uncapped commissions earning potential. Pay structure is draw vs. commission and does not require you to reconcile against future commissions. Additional bonus opportunities and invitation to Sales Award/Recognition trip for Top Rookies! Average income after 1 year $60k, top performers earn $80k with many in the low $100’s. This is a W-2 position with health benefits, 401(k) w/ company match, HSA account, and more. Your expenses (including mileage) will be reimbursed to you weekly.
TRAINING:
You will complete two weeks of paid training in a classroom environment and in the field. Continual coaching and training are available to develop your skills and ensure your continued success!
