Overviewnn nWilliam Morrow is seeking a Senior Manager, Publishing. This position will report to the Associate Publishers of Fiction and Nonfiction, and will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Publicity, Art and Production on all aspects of publishing a full title list that includes franchise bestsellers, commercial and literary fiction, classics, celebrity memoir, narrative nonfiction, lifestyle, cookbooks, and self-improvement.n nResponsibilitiesnn Work with Sales to communicate numbers, call reports, and key sales updates to APs, Marketers, and Editors for all formats.n Create and provide sell-in materials for all sales calls, including covers, slides, sellsheets, mass market sales kits, etc. n Attend Inventory meetings for all books and communicate key updates from sales and inventory back to the publishing team.n Oversee the galley process, coordinating with Marketing/Publicity, Art, Production and Sales. n Schedule seasonal Account meetings to review promotional spend with senior marketing team and manage those budgets.n Manage Large Print and Library Hardcover publications.n Oversee Reprint publication assets.n Oversee WSJ ad process with ad/promo and MDs .n Liase with sales on priority titles.n Oversee hardcover and paperback planning and sales conference presentations.n Frontlist Trade Paperback Promotion List. n Work with the APs, pull seasonal account pick pitch lists.n Manage Add On Process for all formats.n Schedule seasonal library and indie account meetings with Sales and senior Marketers. n Oversee IndieNext process.n Oversee trade show with marketing and publicity teams.nnQualificationsnn A minimum of 6 years of marketing experience in SEO and metadata optimizationn Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneouslyn Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailn Ability to work well with all levels of employeesn Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointn College degree or equivalent work experiencennThis role is currently based out of New York, New York.
