Publisher Intelligence Analyst, Online Partnerships Group
The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and DoubleClick tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. You'll provide innovative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers and proactively identify new opportunities. Some of the largest publishers on the web rely on our products and we're always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships. Our team helps grow Google's business with the largest online publishers and provides account management for users of AdSense, DoubleClick and more.
The Publisher Intelligence team is a business analyst team responsible for helping OPG make the best decisions possible using data. As an analyst on the Publisher Intelligence team, you will be responsible for scoping, initiating, and delivering on analytical projects, such as modeling publisher behavior, creating complex SQL workflows, and evaluating the impact of projects and products via statistical methods. This requires not only deep analytical and modeling skills but also the ability to develop strategic recommendations based on analysis and communicate and operationalize them (often in conjunction with various other cross-functional stakeholders).
This role is not about simply grinding out numbers; it is about building new business processes based on data and models to increase efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. You will work in a collaborative role working closely with the various teams within OPG and throughout Google to drive the business decisions that will make our partners more successful.

Initiate, analyze, and socialize data projects in conjunction with various cross-functional stakeholders.
Manage and develop data infrastructure in order to bring order and insight to complex datasets.
Understand, analyze, and interpret trends in the market that affect the display ads business.
Communicate findings from data and analyses to senior stakeholders, influencing them to make the best decisions possible.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of work experience as a data analyst, business analyst, product analyst or consultant.
Experience managing and querying large datasets using SQL or other languages.
Bachelor's degree of a quantitative nature (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with scripting and data analysis languages, such as Python and R.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
