Inside Advertising Sales Executive

LPi, the premier provider of church bulletins and newsletters, is looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative

that succeeds in a quick sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play the central role in saving our advertisers who are unhappy with their ad. At LPi our mission is connecting a dedicated readership with local business through print, digital sales, and online advertising. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of sales success, excellent communication skills, fierce work ethic, and excellent communication skills. You must be comfortable handling a high volume of calls, presenting the opportunity and completing the handling save.

Characteristics That Make You Successful:

Partake in 50-75 inbound and/or outbound sales call to customers who express a desire to cancel their advertisement.

Establish rapport, assess prospect’s concerns, present product features, benefits and layouts, color and price options while utilizing persuasive communication techniques to save the advertisement.

Follow up with customers/leads that were incomplete or inconclusive via phone, voice or e-mail messages, and record sales effort results with each targeted lead and prospect and retain for further reference.

Submit accurate and timely sales orders or cancels to ensure the ad is properly continued or removed in print form.

Collect customer payment information including, but not limited to checks, credit card information, and cash. Submit information for processing.

Help move advertisers from “lost publications” to other area publications.

Actively participate in available Continuous Improvement (CI) training to enhance knowledge and use of CI tools.

Participate in CI initiatives by submitting Opportunities, Problems and Ideas (OPIs) and by working on solution implementation. Collaborate cross functionally and cross-center to further generate ideas and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements:

Highly effective communication skills.

Strong sale skills applicable to short-cell cycle and one-call close environment including; asking qualifying questions to get to the true objection, handling buyer resistance, and saving the sale.

Knowledge of church hierarchy, organization, and communication tools.

Strong computer skills and experience using, Microsoft Word, Excel, IBMi, Advertiser Tracking, etc.

Strong time management and organizational skills necessary.
