Digital People is searching for a Publishing Editor for an amazing opportunity! This role will cover product management a portfolio of health care compliance periodical products. You will also have the opportunity to lead content solicitation, evaluate content gaps, produce editorial calendar(s), assist with periodical advertisement sales and provide subject matter expertise. This role will also be in charge of the editorial tools including monthly magazines and weekly newsletters, assist with other weekly corporate compliance news feeds/alerts and help with content migration from legacy publishing processes. Provide expert guidance on strategy, design, business requirements, feature and functionality tradeoffs and release schedule for publishing pathway. Maintain product backlog and release schedule, when needed acting as business analyst and help tech and editorial teams to ensure publishing tool product /pathway deliverables are met. Ensure teams are working on the highest priority healthcare periodicals related items, and have a groomed backlog of two sprints at all times. Collaborate with and influence cross-functional product, development, and operational teams to ensure dependencies for specific product related publishing pathway deliveries are met. Work closely with Product, Content Operations and Editorial staff to ensure requirements from all stakeholders are captured in the backlog as they emerge. Demonstrates expertise on compliance and regulatory industry trends. Helps develops and execute plans to sunset obsolete publishing processes and services. Ability to work in lock-step with the publishing director to influence and execute upon short, medium and long term product strategy. Ability to work with publishing project coordinator to maintain project planning and reporting. Working across the peer group of product owners to understand the respective roadmaps and strategies and how this influences the publishing pathway. Working with editorial, tech teams and production team.
