What would I be doing?
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Marketing Department in the execution of property marketing plans and supervising and training marketing coordinators. Interfaces with the marketing department, internal departments, outside agencies and vendors to support team goals. Supports property and department in the areas of brand marketing, customer acquisition and retention.

Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior customer service level.
Hires, motivates, evaluates and directs marketing coordinators, ensuring team members receive the training, support, adequate guidance and necessary resources to accomplish established objectives.
Implements and monitors department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget to achieve effective supervision of the department.
Responsible for composition of creative requests, workflow management, on-property advertising placement and effective communication of marketing programs.
Oversees validity and accuracy of all printed collateral, invitations and rules.
Meets and communicates with marketing team and other departments to facilitate planning for fulfilling their promotional and/or advertising needs.
Communicates with outside vendors to ensure that marketing project goals are met and within budget.
Supports marketing team in the calendar planning and execution.
Works with planning and analysis to provide reporting for marketing profitability.
Oversees and executes clerical duties associated with Promotions, Events and Entertainment, including scheduling, maintaining files and records, processing contracts and orders, creative design, digital creation of kiosk promotions and offers.
Distributes Promotional coupons and gifts.
Complies with Belterra Park Cincinnati standards, guidelines, and objectives and maintains administrative processes to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of department functions.
What are we looking for?
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2-3 years in the gaming industry with marketing experience. College degree in business preferred.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel; experience in desktop publishing programs highly desirable.
Independently initiates, follows up, and completes assignments and special projects on time and on budget.
Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and internal departments.
Ability to lead and supervise other team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment and tact.
Strong understanding of gaming industry helpful.
Marketing department or gaming industry experience required
Able to communicate effectively with outside agencies and all levels of team members
Ability to use all required office equipment in an effective and efficient manner.
Ability to work with various computer applications and programs
Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with external contacts and all levels of employees.
Ability to be flexible in work hours, and respond on short notice
