Job Responsibilities:

Distribute vendor-specific metadata from our database to multiple eBook vendors

Create eBook files in PDF and EPUB formats from native InDesign files

Coordinate outsourcing of EPUB file creation when necessary

Perform quality assurance on EPUB files and troubleshoot conversion problems

Upload eBook files to numerous vendor platforms

Liaise with internal departments and external partners

Help refine existing process for converting print-ready files into eBooks

Send out sample books to reviewers


Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Experience using font programs

Familiarity with print and eBook production processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Keen attention to detail

Experience creating EPUB files strongly preferred
