We value and promote diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business and at every level of our organization.The PVSI team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Wells Fargo Virtual Channels, and Innovation including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses and other key partners.Within the Operations team our Risk Operations/Fraud Prevention Services team partners with product, channel, risk and technology teams to develop and provide secure, reliable, scalable and customer friendly prevention, investigation and claims services that protect customers and Wells Fargo from fraud losses.Wells Fargo Risk Operations and Fraud Prevention Services (ROFPS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procedure Writer/Publisher 3 to provide day\u2013to-day direction and support to the Business Procedure Writing and Communications Team.Specifically this role will provide strategic thought leadership, quality management and consultation on the effectiveness of business procedures, and will oversee a team of Procedure Writers.The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, recommending and documenting business procedures and best practices; identifying procedure gaps and offering alternatives; reviewing changes to business operations for potential impacts to other operations/procedures; managing the procedure approval process, to include obtaining appropriate approvals from management and governance teams (Operational Risk Management, Real Estate Compliance and Operational Risk, Legal).In addition, this position will provide thought leadership in the development and execution of the communications strategy, actively participate in the development of documentation strategy, policy and guidelines, and manage projects related to business procedure implementation.The Procedure Writer/Publisher 3 will provide day to day oversight and leadership to the team and ensure business procedures and other technical documentation are compliant with the Wells Fargo Style Guide and brand strategy.Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ensuring established guidelines for organization and design of work. Reviewing regulatory changes and partnering with regulatory change agents to proactively identify required updates. Participate in procedure audits. Manage procedure timelines and pipelines. Maintain document library/manual/repository.
5 years of technical documentation, publication, procedure writing, or business process writing experience
2 years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
Intermediate knowledge of Open Text and other web based
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Knowledge and understanding of the Open Text system
Solid critical thinking skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently
Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
