CACI is looking for an organized, detailed, and self-motivated Desktop Publisher who thrives in a deadline-driven, client-oriented, team environment. In this role, you will provide desktop publishing and production support for new contract and task order proposals.
What You'll Get to Do:
Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), identify RFP production requirements, and craft them into proposal templates.
Format high-quality documents in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat in accordance with solicitation requirements, including using Heading styles to generate tables of contents and other Word functionality for efficiency and quality.
•Convert Word documents to PDFs, creating bookmarks and verifying error-free conversion.
•Insert and confirm that final versions of graphics are inserted into documents.
Maintain version control of all documents related to proposal efforts.
Assist in white glove reviews and book check for proposal responses.
Assemble the final submission files for distribution to the government. This includes final review, tabs, printing, binding, burning CD/DVDs, and shipping.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of extensive proposal production experience in the development of small to large Federal new business and task-order proposals.
Technical background in software or information technology is preferred.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Active Secret clearance
You Will Also Bring These Professional Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, with expert knowledge of formatting Word documents.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
Organizational skills (e.g., able to work on as many as five proposals simultaneously).
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work independently in a high-paced, detail-oriented environment as well as part of a team.
Strong typing skills.
