As our marketing manager you will be responsible for partnering with a Marketing Director to identify and execute the direction and annual marketing plans for consumer and customer focused marketing growth strategies for an assigned business, product line or product. The incumbent is responsible for developing comprehensive solutions, marketing materials and campaigns to drive customer and consumer awareness and engagement around our product offerings and marketing initiatives, ultimately driving increased volume and profits. Incumbents research and identify new marketing opportunities that fit market needs, and implement initiatives to improve customer and consumer experience. The role works closely with sales to develop channel and segment strategies with an emphasis on strengthening the Jostens brand, achieving net account growth and improving buy rates across all product lines. The role will work closely with all cross-functional teams to implement initiatives to improve customer and consumer experiences and ultimately drive increased profitability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop effective marketing materials for customers and consumers (messaging, collateral, email, social, video campaigns), outlining comprehensive campaigns which include multiple touch points to customer\/consumer with print and digital, supporting increased awareness and drive increased revenue. Identify & execute short and long term marketing plans for consumer and customer initiatives driving growth for the assigned business, product line or product. Implement marketing strategies to maximize profitability, growth and customer satisfaction. Work with large cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration Incumbents work closely with Jostens internal creative team, digital team, outside vendors, marketing services, product marketing, legal, sales team, customer service, IT, manufacturing and other key business partners. Manage marketing budget and forecast to meet profitability goals. Required: \u2022 BA\/BS in Marketing, communications, journalism, business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience \u2022 5 years business experience in marketing and consumer demand creation \u2022 Experience in developing and implementing integrated on\/offline comprehensive marketing strategies, including catalog, online campaigns, and retail channel approaches and best practices \u2022 Exceptional marketing, communication(written & verbal), project management, analytical & organizational skills \u2022 Effective presentation skills \u2022 Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, ability to work with large cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration \u2022 Demonstrated ability to work as a leader within teams and ability to motivate and influence others \u2022 Proven ability to think fast, respond quickly and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment \u2022 Ability to interact with variety of individuals cross-organizationally \u2022 Flexibility to perform assignments with minimal notice \u2022 Extremely adept at time management with minimal supervision \u2022 Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast paced environment \u2022 Proficiency with MS Project \u2022 Ability to engage and seek diversity in thought, perspective, and presence for best possible solutions and results Preferred: \u2022 MBA or 3-4 years of additional related business experience \u2022 Knowledge and understanding of the social media universe and best practices \u2022 Desktop publishing experience Celebrating 120 years of business, Jostens has been a part of local communities, working with K-12 schools, colleges and universities, teams and affiliation groups.
