Job Description :
The Publication Coordinator (PC) performs desktop publishing for proposals and other business documentation, primarily using Microsoft Word.
-The (PC) will train and work with other experienced publishers in developing high quality documentation, from start to finish.
-The PC will follow established processes and guidelines. -The PC formats and maintains documents, and checks author’s input for spelling and consistency.
-The PC will learn how SSC develops and submits a wide range of technical reports, brochures and proposals.
This person must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Candidates must have good general computer skills and experience including demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications.
Candidates must be very detail-oriented, reliable and responsible.
Candidates must be able to work quickly and accurately, have good interpersonal and organizational skills, and be able to work well in a team environment.
Candidate should have the desire to learn from experienced Desktop Publishers.
Ability and willingness for extended travel to various remote locations, and to work extended hours when required.
Previous experience with formatting business documents and proposals.
Active TS/SCI Clearance strongly preferred.
Previous experience with SharePoint.
Familiarity with graphics applications (such as MS PowerPoint) a plus.
