Profile

The Precision Dialogue Sales and Solution Consultant is senior role with a knowledge base that spans PD’s core offerings of Strategy | Information | Insights | Interactions. The role demands an intermediate level of proficiency with PD services, supporting technologies, and partnerships; with an expert level of proficiency in some PD services, supporting technologies, and partnerships.
PD operates in a fast-paced, innovative environment which demands marketing knowledge depth and breadth. Solution Consultants are empowered as the resource to support the sales process with creativity, technical expertise, and enterprise collaboration/vision. A successful consultant will possess solid business-to-business sales and account management experience.

Required Skills
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with Sales and Account Management resources to scope and solution opportunities
Work across teams to package Precision Dialogue’s solutions for the marketplace
Assume 1:1 sales consulting leadership for specific PD sales opportunities, including:
Delivery Solutions:
selling additional PD solutions into (primarily) new point-solution relationships (i.e., Interaction Management, Research & Customer Experience, Marketing Technologies, Analytic Consulting, Business Intelligence, etc)
Enterprise Opportunities:
serving as either the point person, or as a team member, in the sale of PD solutions into new opportunities (e.g., RFP’s)
Fulfill the role of sales support Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required:
Strengthen the relationship through communications and working with key personnel (PD or partnerships) to meet client needs
Identify, generate, qualify and drive sales opportunities
Work with internal PD resources to help deliver solutions
Potential areas of expertise include Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Research & Customer Experience, Direct Mail, etc.
Support Precision Dialogue brand positioning as a leader in the customer insights space with expert knowledge of:
Business and services overview
Value proposition
Key differentiators
Secondary Responsibilities
Help develop sales material to aid the business development process
Provide service/technology specific solution consulting via project engagements
Continuous improvement via explicit enablement path including PD services and technology platforms
Provide guidance to PD executive management regarding positioning and marketing the PD brand
Required Experience
Qualifications
At least ten years’ experience in a marketing strategy, business development, and/or account management capacity focused on the 1:1 marketing space
Ability to present and discuss how Precision Dialogue solutions can meet the 1:1 marketing needs of Fortune 1000 CMO’s or VP’s of Marketing
Experience with database marketing, direct marketing, interactive marketing and/or CRM is required
Undergraduate business degree required (ideally in Marketing) - Master’s degree preferred
Enterprise “Marketing Cloud” and Email Service Provider (ESP) experience preferred
Possess excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
Consultative selling acumen
