The intern supports the Editor and Editorial Assistant in the higher education division in editorial-related duties.
Responsibilities include soliciting instructor feedback on book projects, proofreading text, creating art logs and permissions logs, helping to turnover manuscripts to production, collating textbook surveys from a wide range of college professors and providing contact information for psychology professors who might consider adopting a new textbook. The intern may also attend weekly status meetings and other meetings related to the publishing process.
