Job Description:

Harper’s BAZAAR is looking for a candidate to provide full administrative assistance to the Associate Publisher, Sales and Executive Director, Integrated Sales.  The ideal candidate will possess the ability to take initiative, multi task, and prioritize with a can do attitude in an extremely fast paced environment. 

Responsibilities include:


Manage daily calendars, arrange all meetings and appointments

Make all travel arrangements (hotel, air, car service, etc.)

Submit weekly expense reports

Oversee general office tasks - data entry, filing, photocopying, and monthly mailings

Maintain and update all office contacts; comp lists

Assist/help/prepare sales reps for client calls


Assist in completing RFP's and other client requests

Complete positioning reports and competitive tracking

Secure reservations for client entertaining/liaison to venues

Fulfill various client requests

Required Skills

Outstanding professional communication skills and ability to work well with others

Ability to keep all work and information confidential

Superior organization skills

Keen attention to detail

Experience in coordinating schedules and calendars

Administrative office experience desired

Bachelor’s degree

At least 1 internship experience in a corporate environment within a media company with exposure to ad sales or marketing (magazine or ad agency experience preferred)
