We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to assist the Digital Summit Sales team in managing 200 annual sponsors of the 23 city Digital Summit Series Tour. This role provides day-to-day sales operations, sales enablement, and customer service support including sponsor on-boarding and sponsor communications. The Sales Coordinator collaborates with the sales team to engage sponsors pre / during / post events to ensure their Digital Summit experience is flawlessly executed. To be successful in this role, the right person must have the ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Some travel availability to domestic US cities to execute successful conferences is required.

The focus of the Sales Coordinator position is on both Sales Support and Sales Operations, the specifics of which are outlined as follows.
Sales Support
\u2022 Work with sales team to review / edit / update Salesforce database\u2022 Assist with sponsor marketing efforts by pulling lists, reviewing copy, and serving as liaison between teams\u2022 Research competitive events for sponsor prospecting and identify qualified leads\u2022 Gather sales information & customer intelligence to improve sales reporting / analytics\u2022 Work with Salesforce Database Coordinator to ensure all levels of the database are being worked appropriately and serving as a liaison between teams on strategies\u2022 Serving as junior outbound Sales Representative developing outreach in local markets to support sales efforts and deliver additional sponsors
Sales Operations
\u2022 Create and send Next Steps emails to each new sponsor per campaign schedule and/or immediately after new sponsors are signed\u2022 Assist / audit Sales Team for new sponsor WIN\u2019s in Sales inventory\u2022 Become fluent with The Sponsor FAQ for each market\u2022 Collaborate with Accounting and Sales team on unpaid invoices\u2022 Proactively assist sponsors for all event logistics including shipping, badge registration, A/V rentals, electrical orders, etc.\u2022 Audit sponsor ticket and assist sponsor registration; audit sponsor A/V rental inventory \u2022 Prepare pre-show attendee lists\u2022 Assist with sponsor / attendee email Intros\u2022 Assist with brochure, website, and onsite materials proofing for sponsor logos\u2022 Assist Sales and Operations on sponsor booth inventory / booth assignments\u2022 Manage inbound communications and submission forms\u2022 Assist sponsor contacts with mobile app deployment for badge scanning\u2022 Travel to 5 - 7 events annually to coordinate sponsor operations & event execution\u2022 Serve as onsite POC for sponsor operations; troubleshoot sponsor issues\u2022 Support onsite events team as needed\u2022 Assist with post-event wrap up including final attendee lists, Executive Summaries, sponsor shipments
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field required\u2022 3 - 6 years of previous experience, preferably in events and / or sales\u2022 Can-do, positive customer service attitude interfacing directly with sponsors on event logistic information, updates, and deadlines\u2022 Excellent communication skills with ability to tactfully and quickly handle multiple urgent sponsor requests\u2022 Hyper-focused on attention-to-detail and highly organized\u2022 Adept at collaborating across multiple departments\u2022 Problem-solving skills to resolve sponsor process issues\u2022 Able to communicate conceptual solutions quickly and effectively\u2022 Self-driven in a work-from-home / unsupervised environment\u2022 Proficient at internet research; Salesforce experience highly desirable\u2022 Understanding of sales processes and account management\u2022 Available to travel 5-7 times annually to produce events \u2022 Able to physically lift 50 pounds.
