We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management and publishing, graphic design and website management. The primary responsibility of the content manager will be development/updating of Merrill Edge’s Online Resource Center (ORC), key components of which include partner consultation, idea generation, editing, and web publishing.
Create, develop and manage new content for the Merrill Edge Online Resource Center. Individual will have responsibility for consulting with business partners to develop an appropriate strategy for effective content delivery designed to drive associate awareness, acumen and/or engagement.
Work with Subject Matter Owners on requested ORC content updates/edits/enhancements, influencing partners to ensure high quality of content and providing expertise with regard to content structure and formatting. Individual will need to understand and identify all impacted ORC content and will be on point for implementing improvements.
Coordinate assigned Periodic Maintenance/Governance review of ORC content and ensure content is consistent with Global Policy Source (GPS) procedures, applying updates to ORC content as necessary
Responsible for following all processes for content updates, tracking and archiving to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines
Responsible for ensuring content is targeted appropriately
Responsible for ensuring associates have timely access to accurate and concise content via appropriate taxonomy/navigation design, usability design, keyword search term development, etc.
Support publication of communication projects as assigned through various delivery channels.
Apply and maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all communications and web properties, with awareness of and adherence to enterprise standards
Develop graphics for web use/placement

Design-thinking mindset. Experience updating and managing content and production for high-traffic websites. Candidate should have proficiency with HTML, java scripts, Adobe Photoshop and hands-on experience with popular content management systems (Vignette, Open Text, KMT platform, etc.). Candidate should demonstrate an aptitude and desire to learn new software Graphic design skills are desired.
Self-directed strategic thinker capable of making an impact quickly. Candidate should have the ability to fully understand clients’ needs (via detailed questions, active listening, critical thinking, and proactive research), and develop key expertise and recommendations designed to educate, inform, motivate and compel frontline associates.

Strong-attention to detail, focus on quality, proofreading, organization skills, editorial skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment are critical. Associate should be able to adapt and respond effectively to changing/shifting priorities.
Proven ability to establish and develop interpersonal relationships. Confidence to influence and work collaboratively with multiple levels of the organization and within a cross-departmental team. Must have a client-centric mind-set.
Must possess the creative ability to develop web-based information and design strategies. Inside the box thinkers need not apply. Must be resourceful and able to apply overarching standards and strategies in a variety of situations, with minimal instructions or oversight.
Investment industry experience and knowledge are desired.
