The primary responsibilities of the editor are acquisition and ongoing management of business/finance books. The editor must work in a team environment with excellence, leadership, creativity, and ability to work across a team of partners including production, marketing, publicity, sales, and finance. The Acquisitions Editors or Senior Acquisitions Editors for Wileyu2019s Business publishing program will be responsible for actively acquiring and managing titles consistent with project budgets and on schedule. The ideal candidate will identify and acquire new thought leaders in business, collaborate with internal and external global customers, identify opportunities for new business development, and maintain and strengthen author relationships.
