Northrop Grumman is seeking a talented Publications Analyst 2 to be responsible for the following: Effectively organizing and executing the efficient functioning of the technical publications library providing centralized, integrated, pro-active technical data service through coordinating with functional work areas. Reviewing, preparing and updating the MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo technical manuals, and all in-house documents. Planning, managing and producing in-house technical documentation changes, maintain controlled publications, route Request for Problem Resolutions, Ordnance Alterations, and other Technical Publication Manuals changes for management review. Maintaining and controling of all approved software variants for torpedo and test equipment. Providing quarterly metric data for technical publication audits to Intermediate Maintenance Activity management. Conducting quarterly validation of publications for accuracy. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Required skills: Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills, thorough knowledge of MS Office products to include Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to function independently and as a team member in an active and demanding work environment. Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret security clearance. An Associate's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of five years in Technical/Maintenance Library. Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the Heavyweight Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) environment understanding the application of procedure compliance, Automated Process Control System (APCS) and publication conformity.
