We are seeking a desktop publisher with experience in using XML editing tools to build newsletters that are delivered to an internal and external readership Job responsibilities will include posting XML content to our technical accounting Web site by using our content management system, researching and acquiring Web links for inclusion in various publications, and preparing and transmitting content via our subscription delivery channels.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University

Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with others in a team environment to ensure compliance with and assist in the continuing improvement of the publication production process.

Time management skills, including the ability to properly prioritize work assignments and work well under pressure.

Ability to work past normal hours to meet project deadlines when necessary.

Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies as changes in the production process occur.

Ability to learn how to build content in XML (and applicable editors), but previous knowledge of these formats is not required.

Formal graphic design education a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of the following is preferred, but not required:

Oxygen XML Author

Adobe Acrobat

Adobe InDesign

Adobe Dreamweaver

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Illustrator
