The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson offers dynamic teacher licensing and performance assessment solutions. Our custom teacher licensure testing programs are 100 percent aligned to state standards. The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson works with multiple partners, including other Pearson groups, to develop and maintain highly scalable Web applications. These applications share information between Pearson groups, customers, and clients. Development and testing follow the agile methodology. The Test Construction Associate (TCA) works as a member of the Test Construction Group (TCG) with managers and other team leaders to oversee test form use, construction, and analysis tasks that support the delivery of both paper-based and computer-based test forms.The Test Construction Associate is a detail-oriented individual who is responsible for the accurate completion of a diverse range of test form construction tasks as well as the maintenance of complex scheduling and information tracking systems.This individual works on multiple projects simultaneously and plans and executes assigned tasks in order to meet every deadline. Primary Responsibilities Completes initial construction of standard test forms according to established procedures and statistical parameters Produces and performs quality control checks on test form production and test administration support documents Performs quality control checks on answer keys and equating analyses Supports post-administration test item analysis activities; assists with data review activities and coordinates accuracy review of individual test items Maintains accurate, up-to-date, scheduling documents Provides general administrative assistance and performs routine maintenance and updating of information tracking systems Works cooperatively with other groups and departments to assist in query resolution and to meet deadlines Location: Hadley, MA (No remote - Relocation not provided) Reg/Part Time - 18 hours weekly $15/hourly - Not benefit eligible Qualifications Skills/Qualifications A Bachelor's degree is preferred, preferably in Mathematics, the Social Sciences, or another measurement-related subject; or equivalent educational background and/or experience Proficiency with MS Word and Excel and computer/internet based navigation Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail Strong organizational and scheduling skills Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Experience with cooperative efforts and being a team player Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously Software MS Word, MS Excel, and other Windows-based and MS Office products Pearson is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and a member of E-Verify.
