Copy Editor Jobs
A copy editor job opening may be available with an IT/ITES company, online marketing firm, publishing house, broadcasting or telecom company. A copy editor is typically responsible for editing or proofreading the work performed by other people. Specific duties of a copy editor include reviewing the articles or write-ups prepared by others or collected from others sources for grammatical or conceptual errors, rephrasing the articles, putting appropriate punctuation marks, writing courtsey notes regarding the use of content, making use of microsoft word and other writing tools, checking the articles for errors, and getting the articles approved by the chief editor. A copy editor typically reports to the chief editor.
